The leading HR and payroll software company Flex Applications is acquired by the software company Visma and will thereby continue its growth journey with a new owner. Flex Applications will continue to operate as an independent unit under its own name.
Taking this step and joining Visma is a strategic decision to create the best conditions for future development, and the choice of actor was made with careful consideration, Björn Jareblad, CEO at Flex Applications, explains. – Flex Applications has been successfully operated by the same owner for over thirty years and is now facing a generational shift. Opening up to a bigger corporate group has become a natural next step in the company’s journey. Over the years, we have had several offers from different actors who have been following us and observing the company’s success. Björn Jareblad explains why the choice ultimately fell on Visma. – First and foremost, Visma has great knowledge of our line of business. In addition, they are a reliable and stable actor with a long-term focus. I have great confidence in them, and this is something that will benefit both our company and our clients in many ways.
Continues Under Its Own Name
Following the acquisition, the current owner of Flex Applications now will hand over the ownership to the Visma group. Björn Jareblad will remain CEO of the Swedish companies within the Flex Applications corporate group. Veronica Tjomsland and Vegard Tjomsland will remain CEOs of the Nordic companies. No changes regarding other management, staff, or clients will be carried out. Flex Applications will continue to operate as an independent unit under its own name. The acquisition was finalized on November 1, 2022.
